Life Update #2

Welcome back!πŸͺ

It has only been a week since my last post, but it's been about 5 weeks since my last life update post. Has anything exciting happened since then? Well I'd say so. I've definitely been busy, but at the end of the day I'm just living my best life and I hope you guys are too! πŸ€—

Well firstly the weather here in Canada has been pretty good to us. I know that's not really a life update, but it's something I want to note when I come back and read these in the future.

The weekend of June 1st was relaxing. Nothing crazy to note there. I spent the weekdays in between just gaming and golfing. Trying to get back on track since the winter break!

The evening of June 13th was incredible. The Toronto Raptors won the NBA Finals... Man, what an incredible moment. I was fortunate enough to watch and celebrate that game with my closest friends. By far one of the most monumental moments for Toronto, and Canada as a whole.

I've also been having a lot of fun playing PokΓ©mon Go. It's always a great past time in the summer because the weather is fantastic, and Niantic puts a lot of effort into their in-game events. It got to the point that my girlfriend had no choice but to download it... I think she just felt left out πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

June 16th was Father's Day and I spent the day golfing with my two oldest brothers and my dad. I played like shit, but they were really great about it. They have all been playing since they were young, but I didn't really get into golf (let alone sports in general) until last summer. Since then they've been really gracious with inviting me to any golfing event they partake in.

The weekend following was also great because it was my first camping trip of the summer! Oddly enough it was with a bunch of my co-workers, but my girlfriend got to tag along, and we truly had a blast! My workplace hosts a lot of events to get more involved with each other. It's a great way to break that "awkward" workplace stigma!

And that brings me to this last weekend where I spent the majority of it drinking... Happy Canada Day! 🍻🍁 For those of you who don't know, July 1st is Canada Day. Much like Independence Day in the United States of America, it's a day to celebrate our country with friends and family. The whole weekend was fantastic. I spent Friday with my closest friends, hanging out and doing our thing. Saturday night was my first time going to the club since the end of last summer and I LOVED it. Sunday was a very relaxing day spent with my girlfriend and close friends at a very nice local brewery that I had my eye on for a while. Then the whole weekend came to a close when I spent Monday with my amazing girlfriend down by the beach, catching up with family that I haven't seen in a while and enjoying the local parade! πŸ‘

I think that about wraps it all up! I definitely missed a little bit of detail, but any time that wasn't highlighted here was probably spent working or gaming! πŸ‘Œ

I hope everyone is doing well! Don't be afraid to reach out to me on social media. If you want to stay closely updated with my life, feel free to follow me on Instagram using the link below. Peace! ✌
